Drop-Off Details
The dumpster is open for drop-offs Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this service to maintain clean and tidy surroundings. However, it’s important to note that plastic bags should not be placed in the dumpster. This measure ensures that the waste collected is easily compostable and environmentally friendly.
Location for Disposal
The dumpster is conveniently located on the east side of the Public Works building at 9900 Portal Rd. This central location makes it accessible for all residents of La Vista, facilitating easy disposal of yard waste.
This initiative by the La Vista Public Works Department is a part of the city’s commitment to keeping the community clean and environmentally conscious. By providing residents with a designated place to dispose of their organic waste, the city helps to reduce environmental impact and promotes sustainable practices. Residents are encouraged to participate in this program and contribute to the community’s cleanliness and ecological health.
