HVAC issue forces La Vista public facilities to open late
La Vista, Nebraska – La Vista officials have announced a late opening for the City Hall and Community Center today due to an unforeseen situation.
A minor malfunction occurred within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system of the building earlier today. This unfortunate incident led to smoke permeating the premises. In order to address this and maintain safety and air quality standards, the decision was made to temporarily close both facilities to the public.
Crews are currently working diligently to purge the smoke and ensure the building’s atmosphere is thoroughly cleansed and safe for occupancy.
