Following a lengthy winter season and a much-needed update, the new playground is ready to welcome families back for fresh fun and lasting memories.
The old North Park playground had long been a cherished spot for local families. While its presence will be fondly remembered, the community is now turning its attention to the exciting, reimagined play space. Equipped with new features and vibrant designs, the revamped playground is expected to offer a safer and more engaging environment for children of all ages.
Ribbon Cutting and Sweet Treats
To mark this milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5:15 p.m. in partnership with the Gretna Area Chamber of Commerce. The celebration will begin at 5:00 p.m., giving families a chance to gather and enjoy the occasion together.
Adding to the festivities, Kona Ice of Three Rivers will be on site serving their popular snow cones, available for purchase throughout the event. The icy treats will offer a refreshing complement to what promises to be a joyful evening.
