Upcoming repair project in Bellevue might affect motorists

Bellevue, Nebraska – The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced an upcoming repair project on Chandler Rd. at Chandler Acres Dr., slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23rd. This endeavor aims to mend the storm culvert and execute paving tasks and is anticipated to stretch for approximately a week. However, factors like unanticipated issues or inclement weather might prolong the completion time.

Navigating the Repairs

While the department aspires for the work to finish swiftly, motorists will experience some changes in their usual routes. Those situated west of the repair zone will find themselves redirected to either Harrison or Cornhusker for eastbound travel. On the other hand, if heading west on Chandler, the detour will guide drivers north to Harrison at 30th St. With the potential for disruptions, travelers are advised to consider alternative routes to mitigate any unforeseen delays.

The Bellevue Public Works Department is committed to executing the repairs efficiently, aiming to restore normal traffic by Monday, October 30th, and ensure minimum disruption to the daily routines of the city’s residents.
