Recent report shows that Omaha’s Millard North High School is the best public school in Nebraska

Hundreds of public high schools are dispersed throughout the state of Nebraska. Each year, Niche publishes a list of the highest-rated Nebraska schools for the upcoming academic year, and that list has just been published. According to Niche, Millard North High School in Omaha is the highest-rated public high school in the entire state.

Elkhorn South High School in Omaha, Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, Elkhorn High School in Elkhorn, and Millard West High School in Omaha are the next-highest-ranked public schools in the state, after Millard North High School.

Millard North High School received an A+ from Niche despite receiving a B+ for diversity. Administration, academics, teachers, college preparation, and clubs & activities all achieved grades of A- or higher at the school. Millard North High School was also named as the top high school in the state for college preparation.

Here is what Niche had to say about the state’s highest-rated public high school:

“Millard North High School is a top rated, public school located in OMAHA, Nebraska. It has 2,592 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 18 to 1. According to state test scores, 71% of students are at least proficient in math and 75% in reading.”
