Omaha Public Works informs drivers about a year-long lane closure on Dodge Street
OMAHA, Nebraska – Drivers in Omaha should prepare for the possibility of encountering multiple lane closures, including one that may effect a section of Dodge Street.
In accordance with information provided by Omaha Public Works, there will be a number of lane closures on a variety of roadways beginning on Monday morning at nine in the morning.
For the duration of the building construction project, access to the westbound outside curb lane of Dodge Street between North 38th Avenue and North 40th Street will be prohibited. The closure of the lane will remain in place for an entire year.
For the duration of the drain pipe repair work, 10910 John J. Pershing Drive will have varying lane limitations. The limits will remain in place for the next thirty days.
Due to work being done on the power lines, traffic on South 42nd Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Frederick Street in the southbound lanes. The limitations are going to be enforced for a total of seven days.
In order to facilitate utility maintenance, several lanes on Blondo Street will be closed between North 52nd Street and North 60th Street. The closure of the lanes will continue unabated for the next 30 days.
