Grand Island police arrest a woman after assault at McDonald’s location

Grand Island, Nebraska – In an unexpected turn of events, a violent confrontation took place at the West Second Street McDonald’s in Grand Island, right in front of law enforcement officers. The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. this Saturday.

The Grand Island Police Department (GIPD) reports that Miryam Abuelshiek targeted two women at the fast-food establishment. According to the authorities, Abuelshiek struck one of the victims in the face. The aggression didn’t end there. Abuelshiek also reportedly threatened to take the life of the second victim, going as far as to spit on her and douse her with water.

In light of these allegations, Abuelshiek now faces serious charges, including terroristic threats and third-degree assault. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and further investigation is underway.
