Yelp has just released the Top 100 Taco places in America; Texas has 14 spots
DALLAS, Texas – In terms of regional food, Texans may be quite possessive of their taco scene. Even metropolitan regions will argue about who reigns supreme.
“According to Yelp, this is an all-time list of the top 100 taco restaurants in the United States. We found businesses in the restaurants and food categories with a high concentration of reviews saying “taco” and then rated these establishments based on a variety of characteristics, including the total volume and scores of reviews mentioning “taco.” If a chain appeared multiple times on the list, only the highest-rated location was included. As of June 29, 2022, all firms on this list possess a passing health score, if accessible.”
Let’s examine the locations of these 14 locations. Five businesses from the Houston region are featured on Yelp’s list. Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth followed with three each. There was one in San Antonio, Amarillo, and Galveston.
Seven locations were mentioned in the Los Angeles area. Statewide, California also had the most (15), while Texas had the second-most (4).
