Woman crashes into LSO patrol car as MP reacts to another crash in icy conditions
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) – The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says a woman crashed into a deputy’s patrol car while he was responding to another crash.
On Wednesday afternoon, Sheriff Terry Wagner said the undersecretary responded to the icy crash near Highway 77 and Mill Road, between Waverley and Raymond, and blocked the outer lane to protect the crash site and the ambulance.

According to Sheriff Wagner, the deputy got out of his patrol car directing traffic when the woman, traveling at high speed, crashed into the back of the patrol car.
The LSO said the woman crashed her car, but thankfully no one was seriously hurt.
Sheriff Wagner said the woman suffered minor injuries and the crash is under investigation.
MPs began responding to a number of traffic incidents and accidents around 13:00 on Wednesday. Sheriff Wagner said there were minor injuries in all the crashes.
