The tragic death of Bob Saget left many on the world stage and fans in grief for the sudden and unexpected loss. Bob died at the age of 65 on January 9, and with the release of the autopsy report and the discovery of his body, new details have now been made public.
A report of the incident was released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office after he was found lifeless in a Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando, Florida.
Bob was found dead by a hotel housekeeper after missing check-out time.
Bob allegedly arranged a late check-out at 3pm, which he missed, and an hour later a maintenance worker entered the room and found him unresponsive in bed. The source added that “the room was tidy, with no signs of trauma, and Saget’s bags were packed by the door.”
According to the report, Bob’s wife, Kelly Rizzo, asked hotel security to check on her husband. Security knocked on the door of his hotel room and received no response. They entered the room and found him unresponsive to bed and “cold to the touch, yellow and greasy.”
“His left arm was over his chest, while his right was leaning on the bed. “There are no signs of trauma,” the report said.
Hotel security staff called 911.
Bob Saget’s autopsy was completed on Monday morning, January 10, but the results of the autopsy will have to wait a long time.
