Wahoo man dies in car crash near Cedars Bluffs
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – A Wahoo man has died after a one-vehicle crash near the eastern edge of Cedar Bluffs. The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on Tuesday near the intersection of County Road X and County Road 16.
Officials said a black Chevrolet pickup truck was driving north on Highway 109 at 10:33 pm Monday when it veered off the road and crashed into a ditch. The vehicle then rose into the air over County Road X before crashing into a tree on private property, overturning and coming to a stop several hundred feet north of County Road X.
The driver and only passenger of the car, 36-year-old Jedd Lofgren from Wahoo, died at the scene.
The deputies were assisted by the fire and rescue service Cedar Bluffs.
