LINCOLN, Nebraska – Two more males have been arrested by Lincoln Police in relation to a fatal shooting in downtown Lincoln last month.
Wednesday, police detained Jahhfarr Fletcher and Said Salahuddin in connection with the homicide that occurred on September 25 near 18th and O Streets.
Both men are Lincoln natives.
Jahhfarr Fletcher was arrested for Complicity in a Felony of the First Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Tampering with a Witness.
Salahuddin was arrested for Complicity in a First-Class Felony.
On September 26, police arrested Jahhrasta Fletcher, 22, for first-degree murder, one day after Robert Brannon, 33, was fatally shot in an alley between 18th Street and Antelope Valley Parkway.
Authorities reported that Jahhrasta Fletcher was observed on security footage and thereafter fled the site.
Surveillance footage suggests that Jahhrasta Fletcher and Brannon encountered each other near a neighborhood shop, according to LPD and court filings. According to a probable cause affidavit for Jahhrasta Fletcher’s arrest, Brannon lunged towards Fletcher, who grabbed a revolver and fired at Brannon. Brannon fired back before falling to the ground. After approaching Brannon, Fletcher fired further shots from close range.
Both Jahhfarr and Jahhrasta Fletcher are siblings.
A 22-year-old male has been charged with first-degree murder for their alleged involvement in Sunday’s tragic downtown shooting.
