Two Chicago women arrested in Nebraska near Lincoln during traffic stop, cocaine and other drugs found

LINCOLN, Nebraska – Saturday morning, two Chicagoans were nabbed by Nebraska troopers following a traffic stop.

Mia Williams, 20, and Jennilee Velez, 20, were arrested for possession of controlled narcotics and possession with intent to distribute. According to the report, both were incarcerated at the Seward County Jail.

Saturday morning, a Nebraska State Patrol trooper stopped a Mercedes for driving on the shoulder of Interstate 80 in Seward County. According to reports, the trooper suspected criminal activity during the stop around mile marker 371.

During a car check, the trooper uncovered 17 pounds of cocaine and unidentified tablets. The release adds that the items were discovered concealed in the trunk.
