PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. — Officials from the Platsmouth public schools have stated that they were made aware of a bomb threat to their high school on Tuesday morning.
The anonymous tip was submitted through the “Say Something” reporting system of the school district at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the officials.
Due to the possible danger, the school’s students and employees have been removed from the building, and local enforcement along with a K9 team have been sent to the scene.
According to the school system, all of the children and staff have evacuated the facility at this time and are safe.
They add that an inquiry into this matter is currently taking place with the district officials and police enforcement.
