Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day

Election Day is soon approaching for Americans, but the question is whether or not you are registered to vote.

September’s fourth Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day.

In 2012, the National Association of Secretaries of State began the event.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of people participate. It is a concerted campaign by local, state, and national groups to encourage individuals to register to vote.
