Tuesday hit-and-run incident in Omaha fatal for one person, local authorities released the identity of the victim
OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
At 1:13 a.m. on Tuesday, police were dispatched to the area of 23rd and G Streets for a person lying on the ground.
The police have identified the victim as Manuel Reynoso-Gutierrez, age 50.
According to the authorities, Reynoso-Gutierrez was observed by residential security cameras walking along G Street’s sidewalk.
According to authorities, the individual eventually lays down on the southwest corner of the 23rd and G intersection. The police think that Reynoso-Gutierrez was then struck by an eastbound car on G St.
First responders pronounced Reynoso-Gutierrez deceased at the scene.
The investigation is still active.
