Although it has been available for iPhone users for months, Donald Trump’s social network has now been approved by Google and has become available for Android devices, reports TechCrunch.
Truth Social, the social network of former US President Donald Trump, has been approved by Google. The application became available for Android, and very soon after that in the Play Store.
Earlier in August, Google decided to block the network after discovering a series of posts that violated its rules, including content with physical threats and incitement to violence. Truth Social was never officially banned from the Play Store although it was awaiting approvals until certain changes were made.
Google says that the owners of Truth Social have agreed to introduce rules against some types of content, including those that incite violence.
It is not known how hate speech will be controlled on the app, as the social network itself has no rules related to hate speech while Google strictly prohibits content that incites hate.
