Three handguns stolen from unlocked car north of Lincoln, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) — Three handguns were stolen from an open vehicle north of Lincoln on Saturday, police say.
At around 7pm, a 21-year-old man reported parking his car outside a flat near First and Adams Streets to see a friend.
When he returned to his car about an hour later, one of the rear doors was slightly open, according to police.
Three guns were missing from the vehicle: a 9mm Diamondback, a 9mm Bereta, and a 9mm SCCY.
The victim told the officer she thought her vehicle was locked. Police say the vehicle sustained no damage.
