Thousands of people enjoy antiques at the Winterfest event in Lancaster County.
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska). The people of Lincoln got a chance to find their treasure this weekend at the 21st annual Winterfest Flea Market and Antique Show. Approximately 5,000 people walked through the doors of the Lancaster County Events Center to view the merchandise of more than 200 vendors.
Visitors could buy anything from jewelry to cast-iron pans and Kansas City chiefs’ costumes.
The organizers of the event say that this is an event where everyone will find something for themselves.
“There’s a community here that goes shopping and buys what they want,” said Douglas Bellinger, the show’s promoter. “Like we say, ‘Find your treasure.’ and they love it.”
The event took place from Saturday to Sunday, and the organizers of the event are already starting to plan for next year at the same place and around the same time.
