The number of new Covid-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths is going down in Nebraska, the situation is slowly stabilizing

Omaha, Nebraska – Following the national decreasing Covid-19 trend, the Covid-19 in Nebraska is slowly losing its spreading pace leading to drop in new cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

This seems to be encouraging just in time when we slowly approach the spring months when people usually spend more time outdoors with family and friends.

According to the most recent data, the state of Nebraska reported a total of 387 people hospitalized as of Sunday. Although the number of hospitalizations seems to be higher compared to the week before, it’s still much lower compared to the end of January when at one point there were 767 people hospitalized in Nebraska.

What is even more encouraging is the decreasing trend in new Covid-19 cases across the state of Nebraska.

According to the CDC data, Nebraska added a total of 1,940 new cases last week which is much lower compared to the week before when a total of 4,868 cases were added.

The number of cases has been falling since the state set a record of 29,141 cases in the week that began Jan. 16.
