The Nebraska man who was found shot and injured in car in Omaha on Thursday has died, local police confirmed

Omaha, Nebraska – The victim who was found shot and injured in a can in Omaha on Thursday has died, the local police department confirmed.

According to the incident report, officers were dispatched at the scene at 47th Street and Laurel Avenue following a 911 call in regards to multiple shots being fired.

When they arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. on Thursday, they found the 46-year-old Daron Hunter shot and injured in a vehicle parked on the street.

He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced dead.

The Omaha Police Department is asking for public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect(s) involved in the fatal shooting incident.
