The highest paying YouTuber earned more than Messi, Ronaldo, Novak Djokovic last year as the platform hits 2.3 billion users worldwide

Forbes has published the list of the highest paid YouTubers in 2021. In first place was Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast.

His YouTube videos have more than 10 billion views and brought him a profit of 54 million dollars.

Last year he earned more than the best athletes in the world such as Novak Djokovic, Lionel Messi, LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, who all earned about 40 million dollars.

Jimmy has surpassed 10-year-old toy reviewer Ryan Caji, who has topped the list for the past two years.
In second place was Jake Paul, third place was taken by Markiplier, then the American comic duo Rhett and Link, and then Nathan Johnson Graham.

Research shows that in 2021, the YouTube platform had 2.3 billion users worldwide.

Journalist Chris Stockel-Walker says that YouTube is increasingly replacing television, and that the platform’s earnings show that the content it publishes is of good quality.
