The fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccines doesn’t offer significant protection against Omicron, Israeli study shows

Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv today released the results of a preliminary study showing that a fourth dose of coronavirus vaccine provides only limited protection against the new type of coronavirus Omicron.

In December, the hospital began vaccinating more than 270 health workers with another booster. Modern vaccine was given to 120 people and 154 to Pfizer / Biontec.

All had previously been vaccinated three times with the Pfizer vaccine.

Clinical trials revealed slightly more antibodies than after the third vaccine last year, but that did not stop the spread of the Omicron strain.
