JOSEPHINE, TEXAS – Josephine Police have concluded that a murder-suicide occurred in the passing of an elementary school educator who worked for the Wylie Independent School District.

When police arrived at the house on Mallard Street just after midnight on Sunday, they discovered two people who had been shot and killed inside.

Lacie Moore and Brian Moore were identified as the suspects by the Josephine Police Department on Tuesday.

The investigation revealed that Mrs. Moore was the so-called “victim” of the gunshot.

At Davis Intermediate School, fifth grade English and Language Arts was Lacie Moore’s specialty as a teacher. Since the year 2020, she had been working for the school system.
