The athletics director at Bloom-Carroll Local School District in Columbus is accused of sexual conduct involving a former student, arrested

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Tuesday morning, officials arrested the sports director of Bloom-Carroll Local School District for alleged sexual activity involving a former student.

According to court documents, Chad Little, 45, is facing two counts of sexual battery.

According to a charge filed with the Fairfield County Common Pleas Court on Monday, Little reportedly participated in sexual activity with a pupil at a district school between March 1, 2018 and September 20, 2020.

Little is due to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, he is being held at the Fairfield County Jail on a $350,000 bond.

Superintendent of Bloom-Carroll Local Schools Shawn Haughn made the following statement indicating that Little has been placed on leave.

“Mr. Chad Little, the Athletic Director, was arrested this morning, I was informed. I placed Mr. Little on leave immediately. The District has cooperated completely with law enforcement and will continue to do so in the future.”
