Sunday night shooting outside grocery store in Omaha results with four people injured, Omaha Police Department says

Omaha, Nebraska – The four people shot and injured, this the result of the Sunday night shooting outside grocery store in Omaha, the local authorities confirmed.

According to the incident report, a shooting incident was reported to the police around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday and officers with the Omaha Police Department were immediately dispatched at the scene at 33rd and Decatur streets.

When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that the shooting happened outside of the NBH Grocery store.

“Officers located a victim at the scene and was transported to University of Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition since then three parties have shown up to Creighton hospital with injuries as well,” Lt. Nick Muller said. “The investigation is ongoing, all injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.”

The victim at the store is a 54-year-old man. The other three are 19, 21, and 22 years old.

The police said there was no threat to the public after the incident. There is ongoing investigation that should reveal who the shooters are and what led to the shooting.

No more details about the shooting were immediately released to the public.
