After a quiet start to the day on Wednesday, there will be a storm system in the evening with a good chance of snow. It will last until Thursday morning.
The best chance for snow in Lincoln is late Wednesday through very early Thursday.
For the eastern half of the state, the heaviest snow is expected to remain near the Kansas-Nebraska border, then decrease as one continues north. 2-4″ possible in Lincoln and along much of I80.
The heaviest snowfall is expected to remain south of I80. Smaller amounts will happen further north.
