Shooting that stemmed after a home invasion in Omaha Tuesday morning fatal for 19-year-old man, police
OMAHA, Neb. — After receiving a call about a home invasion early on Tuesday, Omaha police found one individual dead at the scene.
According to the Omaha Police Department, the victim has been identified as 19-year-old Alon Reed.
According to the officials, Reed was declared deceased at the scene of the accident by the paramedics.
It took place around 10 in the morning close to the intersection of 52nd and Curtis. A significant number of police officers were there, and the area was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
The police told us that the investigation is still in its very early stages, and that while they have some suspect descriptions, they do not yet have any suspects in custody.
