Shooting in North Omaha resulted with one person injured and transferred to hospital for treatment

OMAHA, Nebraska – Overnight, there was a shooting in North Omaha, which left one person injured.

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, police in Omaha reported that one person had been shot in the back in the area of 30th and Parker Street.

The victim, who was 22 years old at the time, drove himself to the intersection of North 39th Avenue and Burdette Street, where they were eventually taken to the hospital with injuries that the police claim were not life-threatening.
