Seward County MP finds 16 pounds. methamphetamine hidden in the car door during a stop
LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska). On Friday, a spokesman for the Seward County Sheriff’s Office made a major arrest using methamphetamine.
A police officer stopped a Chrysler Voyager that had just veered off I-80 near Gener for numerous traffic violations, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office said the deputy began to suspect criminal activity and obtained the consent of the driver to search the car. During a search, the deputy found several packages of crystal methamphetamine hidden in the door of the van. The total weight of methamphetamine found was over 16 pounds.
Valentin Mendoza Jr., 42, of San Bernardino, California, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, lack of a drug tax stamp, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of over 140 grams of methamphetamine. Mendoza was sent to the Seward County Detention Center.
