Several Lincoln student-athletes sign on to play in the college

LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) — High school athletes from across Nebraska signed their national letters of intent on Wednesday.

Lincoln Lutheran’s Garret Hoefs has signed to play football at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and Cole Reilley has signed to play football at Northwest Missouri State University.

Lincoln Southwest had 15 students covering six sports marks Wednesday.

Eight have signed for football, including senior running back Cal Newell, who signed for Washington University-St. Louis.

Lincoln High had signed seven athletes, including some of the 15-1 women’s basketball team: Dyvine Harris, Nyawarga Jock, and Josie Hilkeman.
