Semi loses control on an icy road and hits a South Dakota Highway Patrol car
LINCOLN, Neb. (Nebraska) – A semi-truck went out of control on an icy road Thursday and crashed into a South Dakota Highway Patrol car on Interstate 90.
The patrol says there were only minor injuries in the crash, which occurred while a soldier was providing traffic control for another crash near Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Deputies from the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office are now investigating the incident.
The Nebraska State Patrol shared the photos on its Facebook page and reminded drivers to slow down and out of the way when they come across emergency vehicles working along the road.
