Savannah Chrisley says her life is ‘falling apart’ after parents start sentencing

Savannah Chrisley is having a “very hard time” coping with the absence of her parents, Todd and Julia Chrisley, since they began their prison terms.

The 25-year-old reality TV star spoke candidly about the transition Tuesday on an episode of her ‘Unlocked’ podcast, which was actually filmed on January 12, five days before they went to jail.

“So, for those of you who know my family and have followed our lives and also followed my podcast, you know that the last week has been extremely difficult for my family as a whole and for each of us individually,” Savannah said. .

“We kind of had to say goodbye to my parents for a little while, for the foreseeable future. And it was very, very, very hard.”

The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star explained that if the podcast episode looks ‘nonchalant’ it’s because it was filmed before her ‘life fell apart’.

“I think it’s because there was a lot of hope and I didn’t face the reality of the situation,” she added, noting that next week’s episode will be “a very intense one-on-one podcast with me.” kind of gives an update on where my life is.”

Todd and Julie were sentenced to a total of 19 years in prison after being found guilty of fraud and tax evasion in June 2022.

Todd, 53, is serving his 12-year sentence in Florida at the Pensacola federal prison camp, and Julie, 50, will be serving seven years in Kentucky at Federal FMC Lexington.

Despite their lengthy persuasion, Savannah has stood by her parents’ side as the family continues to maintain their innocence.

Just last week, she vowed to “fight” for her mom when matriarchy began her time in prison.

“I will fight forever for that smile I love you mom,” she captioned a photo of Julie smiling in her Instagram story.

Chrisley was charged in August 2019 after they allegedly submitted false documents to banks when applying for a loan. Julie also allegedly submitted false credit reports and bank statements when she tried to rent a house in California.
