Saturday morning git-and-run in Dallas fatal for one person, Dallas PD seeks help in locating the suspect

A man was killed in a hit-and-run in Dallas shortly after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, according to investigators.

According to Dallas Police, a car of unknown make or model was traveling westbound on 3000 Fort Worth Avenue in the right lane of three lanes when it struck a man in the roadway and threw him into the middle lane.

Apparently, the suspect’s vehicle fled the area without stopping. The male victim was struck a second time by a red Chevrolet Cruz, which likewise fled the scene without stopping, after witnesses stopped to assist him.

Dallas Fire Rescue pronounced the subject deceased at the scene of the incident.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office went to the scene, and identification is still pending notification of next of kin.
