Saturday morning crash on I-80 forced local authorities to divert traffic

OMAHA, Nebraska – An accident involving a semi-truck has slowed traffic on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80.

The Omaha Police Department tweeted that an accident involving a semi-truck that was traveling eastbound on I-80 to I-680 occurred early Saturday morning.

On the eastbound side of Interstate 80, the access lanes to Interstate 680 are all closed.

The ILQ Ramp is receiving redirected traffic at this time. It is likely that there will be delays in traffic for a few hours.
