San Julian Park shooting in Los Angeles results with several injured and hospitalized, ongoing investigation

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – After a gunshot took place at a park in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, authorities confirmed that four people were injured and were being treated at local hospitals.

It was just before 2 o’clock in the afternoon when the incident was said to have occurred at San Julian and 5th streets, most likely in San Julian Park.

Firefighters have reported that four adult males were taken from the site to nearby hospitals after being injured. It was not immediately apparent what the nature of their injuries were or what their conditions were.

There was no immediate information available regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident or a description of the perpetrator or suspects.

It is common knowledge that homeless people congregate in the park, which is situated in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The police were called to the scene and quickly established a perimeter around the area while they conducted their investigation.
