Regional notes for March 13th
At noon on Monday, March 20, at First Choice Catering, 1110 S. Ninth St., Norfolk, the Madison County Farm Bureau Board will host a luncheon with guest speaker Sen. Robert Dover. Those interested in participating should respond to Bruce Grant via text message at 402-649-2746.
Pizza Hut of Norfolk will be holding a fundraiser for Parent to Parent Network Inc. on Thursday, March 16, 5-8pm at both Pizza Hut locations, dine-in or takeout.
A percentage of proceeds will help Parent to Parent Network, a non-profit organization created by and for families residing in Northeast Nebraska who raise or care for children with behavioral/emotional problems.
Pizza Hut’s Norfolk locations are located at 506 S. 25th St. and 910 W. Benjamin Ave.
NELIGH – The 2023 Educational Service Unit (ESU) 8 Art Show Kindergarten through 12th Grade will be held at the Antelope County Fairgrounds building in Neligh.
Student artwork will be exhibited from Antelope, Boyd, Holt, Madison, Pierce, Stanton and Wheeler counties, all served by ESU 8.
The show will be open to the public for viewing from 10am to 5pm each day beginning Friday 31st March and continuing through Sunday 2nd April.
The show will represent approximately 30 schools and more than 5,500 students in the seven-county area. There is no cost to enjoy the art. All are welcome.
