Police investigate robbery in South Lincoln Autozone

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) – The Lincoln Police Department said a man with a knife threatened AutoZone employees Tuesday night.

Officers were sent to the AutoZone at the Edgewood Mall near 56th and Nebraska Parkway in connection with a 9:40 p.m. robbery report. Employees told police that a man entered the store and threatened them with a knife. Police said the suspect fled with cash from a cash register and an employee’s purse.

An 8-inch chef’s knife was later located south of Shady Creek Drive with the help of a K-9 squad. The location of the suspect has not been established.
