Police investigate burglary at Lincoln vape store in northeast

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) — Lincoln police are investigating a burglary Saturday morning at The Highest Cloud vape store south of North 48th and Fremont Streets.

Officers arrived at the store on a burglar alarm at 3:44 am, according to the LPD. The officers noticed that the front glass door had been smashed and the officers were already at the scene.

Surveillance video showed two men smashing the front glass door with what appeared to be a gardening tool. Police said the thieves then broke into the store and stole various items from the shelves.

The LPD said the store suffered $550 in damage as well as $500 worth of stolen goods.
