Police have identified 7 suspects in the murder of a Fremont man found dead in a Council Bluffs apartment.

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (Nebraska) – Police in Council Bluffs said three of seven suspects in the murder of a 19-year-old teenager about a month ago are in custody and have asked the public for help in finding the other four.

Seven suspects, all from Council Bluffs, are charged with first-degree murder and robbery in connection with the death of 19-year-old Tucker Dobberstein of Fremont, Nebraska around 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 8, at Council. Bluff apartment.

Keshon Houtz-Mayfield, 20; Traavon Thomas, 20; and Treyanna Hudson, 20, are currently in custody.

Council Bluffs police have asked anyone who knows where to find Devin Adkins, 30; Trebor Karman, 19; Dontre Hudson, 20; and Angelina Mikaelson, 20, to contact local law enforcement.

According to the report, police found Dobberstein lying on the floor of the apartment with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police said the seven suspects conspired to rob Dobberstein as he was delivering drugs to them. According to the police report, four of them met him at the apartment; shots rang out, killing Dobberstein.

“These suspects then left the apartment and jumped into a waiting car that was carrying two other suspects,” the police report said, noting that the suspects were wearing rubber gloves and masks. “The occupant of the apartment was not present at the time of the incident, but it is alleged that she had prior knowledge of the planned robbery.”

Detectives searched the apartment as well as social media, phones and other electronic devices during the investigation and determined that all seven suspects should be charged with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery for their involvement in the incident.

According to the CBPD report, the CID and forensic team assisted the detectives in the investigation.
