Pennsylvania woman, a passenger on a cruise ship, has died in a shark attack in the Bahamas

According to the local authorities, a woman from Pennsylvania who was vacationing in the Bahamas has been killed by a shark attack.

The woman, who is 58 years old, was reportedly attacked by a shark as she was snorkeling in the waters of the Bahamas while she was a passenger on a cruise liner that originated in the United States.

The victim’s family reportedly told the authorities that they saw a bull shark attack their loved one.

The woman was rescued by family members and staff of the tour company, and she was carried to the mainland on New Providence Island, where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel, according to the police.

According to “Reuters,” the injuries sustained by the woman were concentrated in the upper torso region of her body.

The incident occurred one month after a British youngster of the same age escaped an attack by three sharks in the Bahamas the previous month.
