Paws-itive Partners helps make spaying and neutering accessible
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (Nebraska)-Since 2011, Paws-itive Partners and North Platte and Sutherland veterinary clinics have worked together to make spay and neuter more economically feasible for low-income cat owners. The “Love My Cat” initiative is helping not only to control the cat population, but to give cat owners or caregivers of stray cats the opportunity to have them spayed and neutered.
“Diseases are less likely to occur; by spaying and neutering, you’re cutting off the hormonal flow. The hormonal flow will feed the tumors. We see many cats with cancerous tumors.
For those who would like to join the “Love My Cat” initiative and have their cats spayed or neutered, please call 308-520-1095 or 308-530-1516.
