Passers-by stop kidnapping at Walmart store in Colorado
Police said Thursday bold bystanders jumped into action to stop a woman from kidnapping a child from a Walmart store in Colorado.
The buyers held Kimberley Jones, 50, the alleged kidnapper, until police arrived, according to Alamos city officials.
Jones allegedly snatched a “small child” from a shopping cart at a Walmart just before 1:00 p.m., police said.
Bystanders quickly stopped Jones from stealing the baby and held her until the police arrived.

The innocent child was safely reunited with his parents.
Jones was slapped for kidnapping, felony threats, child abuse, and disorderly conduct.
“The Alamos Police Department would like to thank the brave citizens, Wal-Mart employees and the public for their quick response and vigilance,” the police said.
