Part of the I-880 was shut down for traffic Tuesday morning due to vehicle fire
POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY, Iowa – Early Tuesday morning, a portion of I-880 in the eastbound direction was closed due to a vehicle fire.
The route was closed for over an hour between I-29 at Loveland and County Road L34 near Beebeetown. This section occupies more than seven miles of the freeway.
The left lane reopened about 6 a.m., but the right lane remained closed.
Before 9 a.m., all lanes were reopened to regular traffic.
