Paris Hilton’s harrowing testimony about being sexually abused at school when she was still a kid
Paris Hilton has said she was sexually abused while attending a boarding school for troubled teens in Utah where she spent a year as a teenager. In a video for The New York Times, Hilton recounted her experience, noting that it was the first time she spoke in detail about specific cases of abuse.
-Very late at night, around 3 or 4 in the morning, they took me to a room together with several other girls and gave us medical examinations. It wasn’t a doctor doing it, there were several different staff members who made us lie down on the table and put their fingers inside us. I don’t know what they were doing, but they definitely weren’t doctors, Hilton claimed.
Paris further described the alleged incidents on Twitter:
– Sleepless and under strong drugs, I did not understand what was happening. I was forced to lie on an upholstered table, spread my legs, and undergo cervical examinations. I was crying as they held me and yelled, “No!” They just said, “Shut up. Stop bothering or you’ll go to Obs.

– It’s important to open up about these painful moments so I can heal and help end this abuse. This was a recurring experience not only for me, but for other survivors as well. I was abused and I am crying as I write this because no one, especially a child, should be sexually abused. My childhood was stolen from me and it kills me. This is still happening to other innocent children – Paris wrote.
In addition to the alleged sexual abuse, Hilton, who has been a vocal advocate in recent years to close the Provo school, previously said she was physically and mentally abused during her time at the treatment center. She shared her experience along with a number of other participants who were sent to similar treatment facilities as teenagers.
– It was really scary, it’s something I suppressed for years. But now it keeps coming back to me and I think about it. And now, when I look back as an adult, it was definitely sexual abuse, she added.
