OPD: Teenagers who tried to steal a car shot and killed an Omaha woman
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — Two teenagers are under investigation in connection with a shooting Monday morning.
Officers were called to the 42nd and W streets to shoot at 10:42 a.m., according to Omaha police.
Arriving police spoke with a 32-year-old woman. She allegedly told the police that she left the house to yell at a teenager who broke into a car. The boy allegedly ran away and shot her several times.
The victim suffered minor injuries from the incident but did not require treatment or transport to hospital.
Police found a suspected minor and another suspected teenager. Two boys, aged 14 and 17, were arrested and taken to the Omaha Police Department.
The investigation is still ongoing.
