One injured in fire near Mida

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Nebraska) — An investigation into the cause of a building fire that occurred earlier this week near Mead in Saunders County is ongoing.

On Wednesday evening, just after 11:00 p.m., the Meade Fire Department responded to the area of ​​Highway 77 and the Q Beltway.

Firefighters said they were sent to the scene of a fire in a building with explosions in the area and found it difficult to pack due to the filthy conditions.

An investigation into the cause of a building fire earlier this week near Mead in Saunders County (Mead Fire Department) is underway.

Volunteer firefighters who arrived at the scene said that strong flames emanated from the building. Four more departments had to be called in to help.

One person was taken to CHI Health St. Elizabeth is in Lincoln due to injuries, but his condition is unclear.
