Omaha resident injured after vehicle leaves road and went down an embankment and into a wooded area of Hanscom Park
OMAHA, Nebraska – On Saturday morning, emergency personnel were quick to arrive at the site of a car accident.
It took at around 11:30 in the morning near the intersection of Park Avenue and Woolworth Avenue.
During the early drizzle, an automobile went off the road there after losing control and sliding all over the place.
The driver lost control of the vehicle, and it rolled down an embankment and into a forested part of Hanscom Park. Approximately thirty yards inside the park was where the automobile was parked.
One individual was trapped inside.
The person who was trapped was released by rescue workers, who then transported them to a local hospital.
There has been no news from the authorities yet on any names or the amount of casualties sustained in the crash.
