Omaha police investigate shooting Sunday afternoon, one injured
OMAHA, Nebraska (Nebraska) — Omaha police are investigating a shooting that injured one person near 60th and Corby Streets Sunday afternoon, according to a news release.
The police arrived at the scene in response to the shots fired at 15:14 and found shell casings.
According to a press release, staff members were dispatched to the CUMC-University campus at 3:24 p.m. in connection with a shooting victim admitted to the hospital.
Police determined that the victim was shot at the scene of 60th and Corby.
The victim was identified as the 21-year-old Prophet Muhammad. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
