Omaha local authorities are seeking public’s help in locating in inmate who escaped from the Community Corrections Center Thursday night

Omaha, Nebraska – The Omaha local authorities are asking for public’s help in locating an inmate who escaped from the Community Corrections Center on Thursday, multiple reports say.

The inmate who escaped from the Community Corrections Center is the 20-year-old Kendall McNeese. The authorities said they found contraband inside his cell and he ran out of the front door while the staff were escorting him.

As per the Community Corrections Center staff, he also managed to disable the electronic mobile device.

The suspect was described as 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

McNeese was sentenced to 8-13 years for first-degree assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and he started serving his sentence since Oct. 21, 2019.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or call the Nebraska State Patrol at 402-471-4545.
